This is the solo that Josh sang for the State Solo Tryouts.  He competed against High School Students from all over Southern Idaho.  He had a score of 33 out of 35 points and received a division 1 (superior) rating.  There were only two baratones chosen to compete in the State Solo Competition in Boise coming up in May.  He was one of those chosen.  We are so proud of him.  He is a very talented young man.

Cache's New Haircut

Cache just got a new haircut today.  he was so excited when we picked him up from the groomer.  He was prancing around, so proud of his new look.  He was so excited that we had a hard time getting him to hold still for a picture.

What a great weekend.  My girlfriends and I decided to escape for the weekend.  We went to Price, Utah to visit Heidi's daughter and granddaughter.  We had so much fun relaxing and playing with the baby.  It was just the break I needed!  There isn't a whole lot to do in Price, but the weather was beautiful and we had such a great time visiting with each other.  We had some laughs and some deep conversations and just enjoyed being together.

I feel really spoiled this month.  This coming weekend I get to go to St. George with my family.  David and the kids like to go 4-wheeling, but since I'm not much into that, I get to go and relax while they are out wheelin'.  Maybe I will actually have time to finish my book.  We will probably go hiking in Zions and go see some of the sites.  Then in two weeks, we get to go again for spring break. I don't think that we have decided for sure where we are going, but either St. George or Lava Hot Springs.  Then David and I are going to Wendover with some friends for the weekend.  I am so lucky.

Sunday was our 19th wedding anniversary.  Sometimes it feels like it was just yesterday but on the other hand I can barely remember my life without David in it.  We have had some wonderful times and created some wonderful memories together.  Who would think that two people who are so different from each other could be so happy together.  Marriage always has it's ups and downs but what a wonderful ride it has been.  I just can't wait to see what the next 19 years brings.
